Title: Rondo(Part 3/XX)
Rating: PG 13 for cursing
Summary: Hibari can't stand other people, especially idiotic blonde and lanky freaks who know how to fight and get in to his personal space. Dino is surprisingly hard to get rid of, no matter what he tries. But what's this leading to?
A/N: These are all individual pieces that can be read separately or together.
Previous parts:
1 2 “What are you doing here?” Hibari growls at the older man viciously.
Dino chuckles. “I have a message to deliver and there’s business here.”
“So important that you had to come to Japan?” Hibari questions, not willing to believe the incredible stupidity being shown by the head of a family.
“I didn’t want to sacrifice my men in case there was any grave danger.” Dino says smiling, handsome in his crisp black suit and white button-up (though Hibari would become an herbivore before saying anything that can be constituted as a compliment about him).
“And I wanted to see you.” He adds slyly, a twinkle in his eye.
Hibari grits his teeth and his hands ache to punch that bastard in the face, after so many years, it's still all the same. “You are the stupidest, most inept man I’ve met. You’re also ridiculously clumsy, too skinny and obviously you don’t understand your position in the Cavallone family.”
“Kyouya. Don’t be so nice.” he jokes lightly, the sunlight lighting up his golden blond hair and Hibari feels a familiar urge to touch it. He squashes the thought quickly.
“Don’t you know you‘re the head of the Cavallones? What idiot risks himself to deliver a message that can be encrypted? Your family has men for a job like this.”
At this, Dino positively beams, like a bright star in the night. “Kyouya! I didn’t know you cared!“
He leans over the desk where Hibari was perched, and grabs his shoulders, dipping his head down to kiss Hibari.
It's a deep kiss, with a tinge of their intimate familiarity that feels so right.
Dino’s heart putters a little with happiness. Hibari stands up, pushing back to gain leverage, and kissing back with a fervor that surprises Dino.
He always forgets about how amazing this feels, he realizes vaguely, but gives no more thought to it. He wants to just feel what he had yearned for so badly. What he ached for everyday for the past several months; to see Hibari, to feel his silky soft hair and taste his lips and to feel that comfort.
And now, their lips are locked, hands fumbling for a better hold. Nothing else matters for those precious few minutes.
When they finally stop, they are both panting, and Hibari’s cheeks are now a pale pink colour which Dino always finds adorable.
“I’ve missed you Kyouya.”
“Shut up.” Hibari immediately says and turns away as to not face Dino. “I have work right now, we can’t do this.“
“It’s okay. I can wait here.” Dino laughs, delighting over how flustered Hibari was and he goes to the sofa to lie down.
“Get out. I can’t work with you here.”came the vehement reply.
Dino only smiles and walks out quietly, closing the door behind him.
Hibari, face still pink and desperately trying to shove down the stupid smile forcing itself on his face, groans. The smile comes out anyway and so he instead tries to think of the reports that he needed to write. Instead his mind keeps on wandering back to those seemingly omniscient lips and the warmth he always associated with Dino. Fuck. He was going to murder the bastard in cold blood next time.
“Hibari-san?” A young trainee, obviously nervous, came in carrying Hibari's afternoon tea. He did not want to deal with fools now so Hibari throws a paperweight on his desk with deadly accuracy at the young man, who immediately drops the tea tray, splashing several very important papers. Hibari’s eyes narrow and the young man gulps in fear.
--
The rest of the day had been stressful, but Hibari was smirking to himself as he left the office. Kusakabe was going to get a new trainee, because that one had left with a broken nose and a great deal of mental damage. At least one thing had gone right today.
The walk was home was dull and plagued with idiotic herbivores, some of them who stared at him. Hibari was used to ignoring them and made it to his apartment ready for a quiet evening ahead to relax. He opened his door to a quiet room. It was tastefully decorated, modern yet traditional at the same time with metal and wooden furniture. However, Hibari found something quite out of place when he hit the lights. On that very same tasteful leather couch that he’d paid a large sum for was Dino. His legs were sprawled across the sofa underneath a blanket that Hibari was certain came from his bedroom. The man was snoring gently, handsome face twisted into a small smile.
Hibari walks over and abruptly pushes the sleeping man off the sofa, looking rather pissed. Dino woke with a start, limbs in a scramble to right themselves.
“Huh? Oh? What? Hi Kyouya!” He smiles brightly and there’s that feeling of wanting to punch Dino in the face again.
“What are you doing here?” Hibari grits out, trying not to submit to the urge to immediately break every bone in that idiot’s body or pounce on him.
Dino grinned, sitting cross-legged on the floor. “I already told you. I wanted to see you Kyouya. I love your apartment. It’s very-”
“Get out.”
“Oh come on Kyouya. I came all the way from Italy to see you!” He gets up all of a sudden, pulling straight the stark white shirt he’s wearing and adjusting those too-tight pants. Hibari is glaring, but Dino pays no attention like usual and stalks over, grasping Hibari’s chin gently.
“You need to have a little more fun.” he smiles, as Hibari looks on at him with an unidentifiable feeling. Dino kisses his jaw line, licking and biting a little bit before kissing the mouth that he wishes was his.
It’s been at least half a year since they last saw they each other and each time he sees Hibari, he feels himself wanting the other just a bit more than last time. Those months were painful and long, and always he found himself wondering if Hibari suffered as much during the period of time?
He gets a quiet moan in response, and really, Hibari should know better than to moan in Dino’s presence because there was no fucking way that he’d be able to stop now.
He opens his eyes, because he wants to see if there’s anything in Hibari’s eyes that might bring even the slightest bit of hope. There’s lust for sure, but he couldn’t tell if there was anything else because Hibari was looking at him like that and his shirt was being torn off, buttons scattering across the wooden floor.
“What are you waiting for herbivore?” Hibari asks, as if annoyed and Dino is more than willing to stop looking and act. Sentimental feelings and romance can come later, now he had an carnivorous skylark to please.
