yes. I'm still here. well. sorta. well. I will be.
Life for the past few weeks:
(1) car repairs
(2) working 55+hours a week to finish a consulting project
(3) sniffling and wheezing as I try and recover from the plague
(4) shoveling the crazy snow Boston has been getting
(5) watching roommate play Assassin's Creed
(6) trying to construct a working 'level' in LittleBigPlanet
... other than the last two items, which have been pleasant distractions, my time has pretty much been spent going 'Aaaaah! *cough cough* Aaaaaah!' Not exactly pulitzer prize winning journal entry material :-D
Good news is the car is now running great... Bad news is there's a car shaped hole in my wallet. Good news is I'm really digging the fact that LittleBigPlanet is like... a thousand dollar 3D modeling engine in a sixty dollar sack... bad news is that because my PS3 is networked through a pretty poor wireless connection, I can't share the fruits of my labors with anyone but roommate. (this one at least is fixable, but it requires rearranging the DSL modem and wiring and due to items (2), (3) and (4) above, I've been a little lazy.
also. last night I bought like... 3 different things that I could have put in my bag for lunch today at work... did I bring any of them? No.
Brilliant! Business as usual.
