I've got this great idea for a World War One video game. It starts out with you getting drafted as a 17 year old high school student. You say goodbye to your friends and parents to spend a month in basic training, barely learning one end of the gun from the other before you're sent off to the front lines. You spend 99% of the game sitting in a ditch as each side hides in their fortifications and constantly bombards the other with artillery. You often hear gunfire, and sometimes you shoot at shadows that might be people peeking over the edge of their trench, but mostly you're bored and miserable and afraid. Comes with a free bucket of cold muddy water for you to put your feet in while you play, for the authentic experience. Warning: may cause dysentery.
