So I haven't posted anything in a while, and I need to do something else before I tackle this final "engineering" problem. I swear, if engineering for a living is as dry and boring as the crap I've been doing in class and for homework, I'm going to have a real problem. It's like, the first year we had all these little projects in engineering- every lab in the first semester was designing a circuit that controlled this little robot in a different way. Now it's like, here's a picture of a circuit, find the number that goes here. Except for that engineering classes where I never even saw a circuit, and I'm not entirely certain that I learned anything. Oh and this one me and Tim are taking now that's been cal 3 review so far, but promises to plunge ever deeper into complicated mathematics. I used to like math somehow... Now it's too much work. Even though sometimes it's kind of cool when everything clicks together at te end of a certain problem, but it just doesn't justify the half hour of trying to figure out what the heck is going on. I hope I get some kind of internship soon, because I really want to make sure this is what I want to do. Career fair is next week and I plan to spend as much time there as I can. What are journals for if not for bitching about homework, eh? This has been a block of text from Ben.
