Finally wrote a new poem

Poetry was big for me back in my teen angst days and I haven't written any since. Well about a week ago I made one up in about a minute and I think it's pretty cool. Here it is, I hope everyone likes it, I know I do.

Grandpa
A gentle hand to hold
A smile to share
Your laugh so bold
In my heart you're always there

You hold me up high
So I can see the stars
That twinkle in your eye
Brightest by far

You danced me on a cloud of light
On my most happiest day
Always willing to put up a fight
But never fails to light the way

A tribute to you I write today
So all will know who you are
Though there are no words than can truly say
Just how Grand you truly are
