I am stupid and I ordered the same textbook twice for environmental geology from amazon.com and the stupid people won't cancel the second order. It is a textbook so it's expensive and now I'm mad at myself and the bitches that I ordered the book from. Now I am the not-so-proud owner of two lovely Introduction to Environmental Geology textbooks. I ( Read more... )

Of all the books in the world to have two of, you really got screwed.

If it makes you feel better, in the last 3 weeks I have:

-had my dryer catch on fire
-almost been evicted twice
-broken my bed
-had my car broken into and my stereo stolen
-had my dvd player break and the warranty just expired

That should make you smile a little more, I hope.

i suppose my complaint isn't as bad as all of that.

still, it is a crappy book to be stuck with 2 of. maybe someone in my class will buy it from me for 70...which is what i paid for it.

i hope your weeks improve...and nothing else catches on fire or gets stolen.

Why didn't you get your books from EFollet? That's what the college reccomends anyways if you don't buy them from there. Plus they're pretty cheap.

Anatomy Book - $120 (NOT cheaper on half.com, either)
Anatomy Lab Manual - $80

GIVE ME MY BOOKS FOR FREE BECAUSE I AM GETTING JIPPED GOING TO YOUR PATHETIC INSTITUTION YOU CALL A SCHOOL!

Oh, and people selling "used" lab manuals with half the labs in them for $50 doesn't help. I hate buying books for school, it's always such a horrible experience.

Oh, and to add fuel to the fire, one of my professors decided to change his book list the day school started. So now I'm stuck with three books I ordered over the internet. Sheesh!
