Moment of silence
In loving memory of Kanbe Miyuki, third stage Sailormoon of the Sailormoon Musicals and my personal hero, who passed away June 18th at the age of 24. It appears that she had been in and out of the hospital since last year. She was admitted and passed of heart failure on the 18th, and it was announced on the 20th. I heard last night/early this morning.
There aren't words to express my sorrow to hear this. Miyuki meant a lot to me, as she was one of the main factors that made me truly love Sailormoon again. In her light I was able to find my own and I was able to shine brightly because she was there to inspire me. I'll never forget what an impact she made on me, and I'll continue to do as much justice as I can with my portrayal of Usagi (be it in icons, layouts, cosplay or any other medium) in her honor. Please consider all of my Sailormoon related graphics a tribute to Miyuki, as it was her example that helped to re-awaken a character that has always been closer to my heart than I may have realized.
Please keep both Miyuki and her family in your prayers.
