job search is going nowhere
So I should be in grad school. Today would have been the first day of orientation. Granted I will be there next year. But what about the meantime. I am searching for jobs, sending resumes and not getting responses back. I mean at least let me know if you've gotten my resume or not. IT is honestly the most demoralizing thing in the world...to know that you are totally qualified for something and not be selected. I got like 2 interviews when I was in India and they didnt select me cause they wouldnt do a phone interview. If anyone can give me any sort of contact that they might have in Chicago, that would be fabulous. The only consolatin that I have is that I have only been here about 10 days. At least I have that volunteer research thing and Ill start spanish classes soon. I just feel really useless. Oh but I started my book. I think its turning out alright if I do say so myself. You all better buy it when its published...and then tell your friends to buy it etc.... I hope you all are well and Ill see you in October!
