Huh
So, I'm 16. I can't really believe it, it seems like I just leaped from a 13-year-old to a 16-year-old, I never really felt the inbetween years. But I do feel different. (I remember back when Episode I came out I was thinking 'wow I'll be 16 by Episode II, that's so weird', and here I am...yes, I tell time by Star Wars prequels :P)
And as the oddest birthday present ever, I'm getting glasses! - can you believe it? I guess all the short eye exams I took at school never put out a fair reading since it was so easy to cheat and get 20/20 vision marked...heehee. But I don't have to wear them all the time, only when driving/wanting to see far distances. I'm nearsighted. I can see shapes far away, they're just a little double-lined and blurry... which is how I thought everyone saw stuff at a distance. Heh. Ah well.
It's exactly a week until I finally see my favorite band. Wooha! Earthsuit, Earthsuit, why did two of your members have to leave before I ever got a chance to meet them? Roy and Hutch. *sigh*...they'll be missed. But I still can't wait. While I'm letting my mom take a different route at almost every show I'm seeing at SWC, I'm dragging her with me to see ES! ha ha. And meet Adam, if possible, since she's scared of him...that should be amusing. My family went scarce on presents yesterday so that I can splurge money on merch and junk everywhere at SWC.
