Suddenly, I cannot wait to see this film.
Because apparently, George Hull and Owen Paterson are still following the Wachowskis around, helping them detail their crackpot alternative worlds. (And The Art of the Matrix does not sit on my hypothetical coffee table collecting dust. Heavens no!) I adore these people and the level at which they approach their work - I'm now itching to see some of this concept art...

The article is a fantastic read, whether or not you're terribly interested in the movie. The level of thought put into the logistics of the world shouldn't surprise me coming from these people, but it does, because... uh. It's freakin' Speed Racer.
