I'm such a scatterbrain right now. It's ridiculous how much is going on internally, and how little externally.
Our nearby fire is slowly getting contained, but the one raging in San Diego just keeps eating up residential areas. Over 1,000 homes gone. My uncle, aunt, and cousin down in SD County just got the evac order last night. I can't even imagine what that must be like. It's so close, but still feels so far removed.
Meanwhile, I'm here staring at the almost-gone (!) wick of whysoserious.com, and trying desperately to tap into my Bourne muse. (I missed the deadline. I suck.)
Life and its extremes are hard to wrap my head around, sometimes.
