Just thought I'd update to say: I am surviving finals week. It's going slow, but well.

Thank you, good madre, for the card and eats - it has saved me rushing to the Caf when pressed for a bit more studytime.

Finals down so far: Biology (which I believe I passed; let's hope), Theology (which I definitely passed, yayful!), Guitar (choked on the "Yesterday" picking part, but everybody did, so A-), and Themes in Literature (aced, baby!).
Also got back my Critical Analysis paper (on the e.e. cummings poem "O sweet spontaneous") and my Prof liked it so much she wants a copy! Holy smokes.

Now I have some breathing room before my biggest and most worrisome exam: Western Civ. Have to write 5 pages in class on how the Renaissance revamped cultural mindsets. Not exactly difficult, just... I gotta get my facts straight, and... 5 pages. My poor hand. It's not till 3pm, though, so I get to sleep in. Hooray!

I am getting beyond excited for Revenge of the Sith. I think it's finally hit me that this movie is arriving, and it has me in a total daze. I leave the soundtrack clips from SonyClassical playing in the background all the time; from what little is there, it seems like the most atmospheric and articulate of the prequel scores by far. Just picturing the images that are going to be put to this music... gah...

I also can't believe I've remained this unspoiled (relatively) - while I do know a few more details than I'd like about what's going down in the movie, on the whole, I'm fairly clueless as to how everything fits together. Whereas for both AOTC and TPM, I knew every stinkin' nuance of the plot before going in (weak-willed). So yeah... I'm rather thrilled that this is going to be such a pure experience compared to my other prequel viewings. Plus... dude... lonewolfbriar. That is going to make it about ten times cooler already.

On a slightly related note, I came across this quote from the Bale which I had to share:

"Obsessive people! They're the ones who make history, aren't they? Obsessives. You may not want them in your house, but you want them to tell you stories."

Truer words never spoken.

star wars, rl
