Well, the weather didn't improve much... The sun broke through a little after noon, but there was still a lot of fine snow blowing around in the wind, and there were blizzard warnings in both our area and around Medicine Hat. The weather forecast for Calgary calls for temperatures in the -20's for the next couple days as well, which pretty much means I wouldn't have been out in the garage packing stuff anyway. So, the new plan is to head back to the city on Wednesday, which gives me four days to pack and load. Really, that ought to be plenty of time, especially if I can wrangle some help.
In the meantime, I've been busy here; I've gotten things more organized downstairs, moved the desk into the computer room, rearranged a bunch of shelving units to make better use of space, etc. Over the next two days I also expect to get a lot of my stuff unpacked and put up on the newly-arranged shelves. Little by little, it's coming together. I'm still annoyed about the delay, but at least I can do something useful in the meantime. Now, if only I didn't ache so much - unpacking is as bad as packing, it seems...
