So what the heck is 5-Pin Bowling anyway?

Thanks to everyone for their comments and well-wishes!  :)

Since a few people have asked...  Five-Pin bowling is a variation on 10-Pin bowling.  As the name would suggest, there are only five pins, and the balls are smaller.  I didn't know that this variation is only played in Canada, until I looked it up on Wikipedia.  Here's what Wiki has to say about it:

Sunday was a lot quieter...  (is that a word?)  We only had one customer, but that was fine, as it gave me time to work on a few things that needed doing - replacing a couple of thermostats with the fancy new automated ones, and cleaning and re-lighting the machine-room furnace.

Trixstir and I have been here since 9am this morning, waiting for two delivery guys.  The guy from Pepsi-Co showed up bright and early, but several hours later we're still waiting for the guy from Old Dutch Foods (potato chips, etc.)  We're starting to think they screwed up and won't be here until tomorrow.  In any case, we'll wait for another hour or so then head back to the farm.  Lots of work to do there too...  Not that I'd mind staying here a little longer, at least I have internet access here!

I'm heading back to Calgary tomorrow, for more packing and loading.  I also have to attend the fall GM of the Western Canadian Miniature Horse Club (www.wcmhc.ca) next Saturday.  Weekend after that, it's Halloween!  Yay!  My favourite "holiday" after Christmas!  I plan to deck out the bowling alley with the appropriate decorations, and see if we can't scare up some Trick-or-Treaters!  :)
