2010 Meme
1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Witnessed the birth of my child.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
My main one was to lose weight, and I did keep it. I gained a little of it back, but overall I lost about 30 pounds. Not a bad start. For 2011 I resolve to lose more weight, and to try to control my temper better.
3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
With Trixstir and the kids visiting her folks, and me babysitting the farm, I'll be spending it online.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not this year, thankfully.
5. What countries did you visit?
Stayed home this year. No time or funds for travelling.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
More paying customers, because more paying customers = more money, and that's what we really need! I'm willing to work for it, but I need the customers to make it happen.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 28, the day the Munchkin was born. :)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finally officially becoming a parent!
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to get out of debt.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing worse than a cold!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Hmmmm, lots to choose from. Various tools and machines, Molly, our new stove... Hard to decide.
12. Where did most of your money go?
Farm Machinery, baby Supplies, and into the two businesses: Wildhorse Bowling and Iron Pony Small Engines.
13. What song will always remind you of 2010?
Louis Armstrong's "Beautiful World", because of the Munchkin.
14. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Work around the farm; lots of things that need to be built or repaired.
15. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Procrastinating.
16. What was your favorite TV program?
I can't choose just one. Mythbusters, Canada's Worst Handyman, America's Got Talent, V, The Event, Law & Order, House...
17. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not that I can think of. I'd like to think that I'm easy-going enough that I don't really hate anyone.
18. What was the best book you read?
Elegy Beach, the (awesome!) sequel to Ariel!
19. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Prince Poppycock, on America's Got Talent.
20. What was your favorite film of this year?
Avatar, Toy-Story 3, and Megamind.
21. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
We ate pizza, watched a parade, and opened gifts. I was *gasp* 41.
22. What kept you sane?
Work, friends, and family; Ironically, the same things that also drive me crazy! %)
23. Who did you miss?
Friends and family back in the city, and all around the country. Hope to get to attend more cons in the future.

Magnetron™ Ignitions don't work on engines prior to 1980! ;)
