Life is what happens while you were making other plans...

You can make all the plans you want. While you were busy doing that, Life comes along and does its own thing... Othertimes, Life just comes along and whizzes by while you were trying to figure out what the heck happened.
That pretty much sums up today - I managed to get a couple of things done, but it seems that largely I spent the day spinning my wheels and getting nowhere. A lot of life is a waiting game, and that's what today (and likely tomorrow) were like. I have things, lots of things, that I have to do, but they have to be done in a certain order. "B" cannot happen before "A", and so on... The problem arises when something causes an issue with "A", and then the rest of the line goes down the tubes with it. In this case, I have to wait for another person to do "A" before I can move on to "B", and all I know is they'll be here sometime tomorrow. More precisely, I have to wait for a delivery, and all I can do is hope that they arrive early in the morning so I don't blow the entire day waiting for them.
The good thing is that Trickstir and I don't have a deadline or schedule carved in stone; we're able to be flexible with our move-time to Shaunavon, but there are limits as to how much time we can take. We had planned to head out again on Friday, but I think that's going to be pushed back a day or two. In some ways that might be better - travel on the Sunday of a long weekend instead of the Friday, and hopefully there will be less traffic to deal with.
We're getting things done, but it just seems to be taking so long...
