Prepping for rain
So a good portion of this week I have been working my ass off and on top of that got sick. Not sick enough that I had to stay in bed but enough to make the second half of the week suck. I haven't done much of anything but try to rest when I got home.
Anyways, This leads to yesterday. Hearing that we would get some good rain from the remnants of the hurricane I went to lowes and bought 32 concrete blocks for the dog kennel to try and avoid mud issues. I would have bought more blocks but I don't think my car could handle it. On the way home I saw clouds to the south east. I thought this was probably the pieces of old hurricane and I had less time than I thought. Get home and the fun of shifting them all to the kennel took about an hour. By the time I finished I was wiped.
Go inside and check the weather online.
Oh..it missed my area completely. Not expecting any rain for some time.
I could have so rather done something else.
