Oh. Oh. So quiet and centered and perfectly Ianto, full of this overwhelming but silent grief. I loved the beginning, and the thought of him condensing his memories to a choice word or number, I loved the hesitancy between him and Jack, and the end - just a little bit of the dawn breaking, the calm after the storm. Fabulous.

Loved it - but this was my favorite :

Jack stroked his hair while they talked, and he blew his nose on his shirt sleeve, which nearly caused a mutiny.

I can just see Ianto rolling his eyes and holding back his scolding.

That was lovely. And so very Ianto. Loved the ending too, especially how it characterized the relationship Ianto and Owen had.

Thank you so much. I love the friendship that was developing between Ianto and Owen since Owen died the first time... I think it's a shame we'll never see it developed deeper (barring sci-fi death syndrome of course).
