Now that Tezuka-kun is back, and we have our match with Jyousei Shounan coming up, I think that it is an opportune time to plan our next team outing.
Climbing Mount Fuji
We will be departing from the school gates at 5 am sharp on Monday morning. We will return either later that day or Tuesday morning, depending on how long it takes to scale the mountain and return again.
It is not yet climbing season, so it is especially important to come prepared. If you are properly equipped, we should not have to worry about injuries or fatalities. Bring several layers of clothing, essential hiking gear, food, etc. If you do not have the required equipment, and do not know what is needed, I will lead a trip to the camping store on Sunday after the ranking matches.
All Regulars are required to attend; other team members may choose to also attend if they wish.
It is a shame that we will have to be missing school again, but with ranking matches to worry about this is the only available time. This is important training for our Jyousei match. Be sure to take it seriously. And yes, I have already cleared it with the school administration, as well as with the Shizuoka prefectural police.
