The silliest thing you can do when auctioning stuff is to feel sorry for the auctioneers you don’t buy from, especially if their stuff has been on the market for a while. i.e. the same kind of feeling you get after walking past a store that hasn’t sold a single thing while the store next to it is selling like hotcakes. Then you feel like auctioning ( Read more... )

YES YES YES YES YES YES I HAVE SEEN IT. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAVE.

...Dude, I was the one who gave the link over at tumblr. Did someone one do scanlations already?

BUT YES. RIHITO IS SUCH A FUCKING MAGNET. But, but but. I adore him in his steady love for Hikaru and STOP BEING SO FUCKING ADORABLE.

And the last page was fucking awesome. Is all.

........wait is there a link over at tumblr. I only saw it at the LJ comm...I don't think there's a scanlation? ANYWAY it was in Japanese so I could read the damned thing AT LAST and you can just tell Rihito misses Hikaru very, very, very, very much through the whole thing even if he never says anything about it. Boy looks miserable when the subject comes up. Makes it so awesome when he finally smiles in the last page.

And yes. The last page. Was the best. I'm really glad Nakamura-sensei didn't go the usual route of having the new dude REALLY try to put the moves on Rihito and Rihito having to defend his one true love. That would not fit them at all. This. Is rather wonderful. He sounds like 'the person he's dating' is so precious whenever he's talking about it, miserableness and all.

The next chapter would be from Hikaru at Tokyo or wherever he is. I hope.

Yeah. I posted it there.

D'aww! I love how they really long for each other. It's so fucking sweet.

YES! So glad Nakamura-sensei didn't for that route, but instead used it to show how utterly devoted Rihito and Hikaru are for each other.

God, I hope so too. I'd love to see his POV. I wonder how these two will handle if Hikaru does become this famous rockstar. Rihito does not deal well with jealousy.

He doesn't deal with jealousy well at all! He did sound pretty insecure about him being born gay and Hikaru being....not, in this chapter, so I wouldn't be surprised if the story goes there at some point. Even if there's no problem of that kind, though, I think he'll probably have a hell of a problem being 'the rock star's boyfriend'; he seems to prefer the quiet life. Hell, I'm not sure HIKARU would deal that well with a rock star/professional musician lifestyle, considering that Nakamura-sensei seems to be treating it more realistically than usual.

Rihito really has this huge insecurity about it, especially when Hikaru's around girls, that maybe he fears that one day Hikaru's gonna go, 'whelp, looks like I like girls after all; that was fun, but bye!"

Hikaru seems to be good with coping with things, and he'll probably handle it better, thanks to his clueless optimism. I'm worried about the pressures of the music industry and its accompanying PR -- Japan seems to be more rigidly controlled about the whole image thing. If he'd been a older, I think Hikaru be able to take it in stride and assert himself, but he's a kid and pressure! (Though it seems the indie label he was talking too was nice!) Hikaru would love to be pro, but I don't think he likes the accompanying fuss and lifestyle. He'd probably want a private, lovey-dovey quiet life with Rihito when he's not touring/working/recording.
