(no subject)
i haven't been livejournalling much either. it's not due to facebook though, it's due to:
-getting engaged (possible weddingpalooza for friends, giant family, dogs, babies and garlic mashed potatoes and mushroom miso gravy set for sept or october 2007 or october 2008)
-finishing my teaching contract at WPGA (yay chocolates, handmade cards, teatowels and beautiful yarn presents! they DID lurve me! go team "kirsti is rewarded for good teaching"!)
-packing up our house in vancouver
-trying to eat as much cheap vancouver sushi as humanly possible ( I WILL MISS YOU ASIANO on commercial- WITH YOUR 40% off AFTER 6PM AND YOUR MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH TUNA....SIGH...I WILL MISS YOU THE MOST)
-driving dog and car with boy in giant van to SK through scary snowstorms
-moving stuff into storage
-moving into parent's basement (ugh ugh ugh)
-trying to find a house to BUY (ack ack ack)
-starting grad school and reading everything ever published about Selenium and Fat Head Minnows. (go team uranium mining effluent)
tonight- juno hockey game: old timers (*woot* wendell clark!) vs. canadian celebrities (i've only heard of 4 of them) in PA.
tomorrow night- jason plumb and the willing at lydia's
