This is an easy peasy fuss-free tarte au citron. I've had a craving for a really light lemon tart for about 3 weeks now since the last one by Yannick. Over the weekend, I decided to make my own as I had a few old lemons sitting about waiting to be used. I have also been wanting to test out DL's seemingly simple french pastry dough recipe. I was pretty skeptical initially (as he appeared to have been as well) as I was like 'where's the rubbing in????' That said, this recipe was absolutely brilliant and quick to make. I was very impressed with the results.

Anyway, David Lebovitz's recipe doesn't use any double cream / creme fraiche so it's not as jelat as some tarts and it is a delightfully light and tangy dessert on sunny days :)
