(no subject)
Last monday/tuesday I went to Carver, MN to see about a job. I really liked the place and the people were really nice. But 2 things bothered me about it, one, even though she said it would be full time, I didn't really see how it could have been (only about 15 horses, and only 4 in stalls right now) and two, there would be basically no one coming to the barn so I really wouldn't have a chance to meet anyone (they only had 2 boarders, which were 45-50 year old ladies, and no lessons coming in). I really struggled deciding, but I ended up not taking the job. Scott and Laura say that I can stay here as long as I need to. So that is good. I have a couple friends (Kristin and Dani) here now too, so that's good! I have weekends off now too, instead of monday and tuesday.
This weekend I'm going down to Iowa. Ashley and I are going to go trick-or-treating on friday, then going to Swisher for their Halloween Party (so I need a easy costume....any ideas?) Then on Saturday night Ashley is having a small party at her house, so it should be a fun weekend! And Ashley will get to meet Ransom, she's pretty excited about that!
Next friday Kristin, Dani and I are going to go to the Pro Bull Riding Rodeo here, should be a fun time. Then on Saturday night its the Western Wisconsin Horse Show Association awards banquet, which Red and I are supposedly getting a award!
