So if this bothers anyone, blame Sarah.
Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits of yours" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 6 quirky habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. I obsessively clean underneath my fingernails. It's kind of a nervous habit, but I really hate it when I feel like I have stuff stuck under my nails.
2. I love cleaning. Organizing, in particular. Vacuuming is one of the most relaxing chores. And mopping. And doing dishes by hand.
3. I have to walk at the front of the line. Maybe it's because I walk fast, but if I'm walking in a group of people and some people are ahead of me, I will increase my speed until I'm walking with those people. Sadly, a lot of the time this habit tends to make it look like I'm leading a small army into battle, because I will be walking in a group of about 4 or 5, and they will all be in a line or clump, and I'll be marching in front, paving the way.
4. I can't share soap. I have this weird germs-on-the-soap phobia. If my soap slips out of my hand in the shower it takes all the will power I have to pick it up, clean it very thoroughly, and then continue to use it. My family knows about this, because in the bathroom that my brothers and I share there is a soap holder that I've suctioned to the wall that holds "my soap." The boys are free to use any of the other five or six bars that somehow end up sitting around the tub.
5. I talk to myself (how did I forget about this one until #5?). Not in a quiet, concealed manner like I believe most of the human race does, but quite audibly and in extremely public places. Grocery shopping, driving, walking, you name it, I'm having a running dialogue with myself, complete with hand motions and facial expressions. I can even tune myself out, and then be surprised at something that I've said. I'm crazy...
6. I hear things more...vividly is really the word I want to use, so just accept it, after I've seen a movie. I don't know why this happens, but it does. It's not really a habit, but I'm having trouble coming up with a #6 (I think I have so many weird habits but they have become pretty normal to me, so I don't notice), so that's what you get.
Mmmm...that was hard.
