Founder's Day = SO FUCKING AMAZING! AH!!
Haha...it was WONDERFUL! Nice and sunny (for the most part). Started out early meeting Katherine, Dave, Sarah, and Emily at the DC for some breakfast, then heading out to Walker Field for the festivities. Went to see Matthew Vassar's grave, very cool. Fran Ferguson has the CRAZIEST eyes!
Went on a ride, danced A LOT, remembered to wear sunscreen (YAY!), drank water and some non-H2O beverages, left just as it started to rain to see Mission Impossible III. Haha...wow, what a movie. Brilliant! In a, "wait...seriously?" kind of way. Excellent excellent.
Came back to campus to watch fireworks (made me miss Vancouver during the 4th of July) and Alice In Wonderland. Watching that movie with a bunch of college students, several of whom are sitting around getting high as the movie is playing is such an experience.
Oh, crazy random event of the day: I'm walking along and all of a sudden I go, "Wait, I know that girl...Robin Pearce?!" HA! She was at Founder's Day! It was CRAZY! So we talked for a little while...it was cool and also a bit weird. But more cool. Rock. I'm hitting the hay, as they say (rhyming is fun!), and all that jazz. Mmmm...it's a beautiful night...
