Friends are funny...and dressage show talk

Having a friend print out my dressage test patterns for the upcoming show next weekend..she says to me "I feel like I am looking at someone's calculus book written in Swahili."

When i had her print out the short and long arena diagrams with 20 meter circles she said "Now it's geometry in Swahili"

i had the choice of re-doing Intro Tests B & C or doing Intro C and Training Level Test 1.
If i retook the Intro tests i could be eligable for a Championship ribbon (which i just missed last time)...but i feel like if i repeated those tests i haven't made any progress.

The Training Level test would be more of a challenge, but i would not be eligable for a Championship ribbon because you have to do both tests in the same class level.

i have a week to decide for sure which way i want to do it...but i'm leaning heavily to the Intro C and Training Level Test 1.

Thoughts?

oh and on a completely unrelated note

i'm helping around the barn and i get asked to hose down Strider (a stocky Morgan/Draft horse mix who is as sweet as pie)...and who should come toddling up to this big ol horse but this little baby skunk! i made no sudden moves and turned off the water hose (not wanting to get skunk sprayed)..but neither of them seemed firghtened. The Skunk (who i named Flower) walked right up to Strider's hoof, sniffed him while Strider just looked down at him like "Hello."

After that the little skunk toddled off.

After finishing up with Strider, i put him back in his stall and saw Flower was still out by the wash rack..so i grabbed my cell phone.
