spring vaccinations

Hello all!

I haven't posted here in ages but always stalk this community because I believe this is the greatest group of equestrian-educated minds on the net! I have a question regarding spring vaccinations. My 9 year old quarter horse cross, Jersey Girl, needs her spring shots soon. We're heading over to Camp Echo to lead their wrangler program this summer, so she'll be traveling and mingling with a herd of 18 other horses. Besides the normal (WNV, EEE, Strangles, Coggins test, etc) what other vaccines do you recommend a Michigan based equine? She won't be traveling out of state this year, and was current on those listed above last spring. Also, I recently read that horse owners are getting their equines tested for strangles antibodies BEFORE re-vaccinating them for Strangles because too much of the modified virus in their system is not a good thing. (I read this in the current issue of EQUUS magazine). What do you ladies think of that? Thank you ahead of time for any and all input!
