Blankets for the Big Guys

Hey All,
I'm looking for reviews, opinions, and experiences y'all have with blanketing the big guys. I have a 3/4 clyde whose shoulders are very wide and prone to rubbing as well as a veeery large neck. A portion of the problem I'm having is that the circumference  of the neck opening is not big enough.
As reference, I put a normal, adult length 54" stirrup leather around his neck on the loosest hole. It did not even fit around the base of his neck, rather it sat a few inches up the neck.
The distance (diagonally) from his withers to the front of his shoulders is also long... he's got that draft build with a big front end.
He almost certainly needs shoulder gussets.

Does anyone have experience blanketing horses built like this? I've got him in a Riders International Supreme Warmblood sheet right now and it's okay but not great. In years past he's had his blankets changed as to whether he's in or out so we've not had rubs as bad as this year (the barn we're at now won't change blankets).
