Various voltuneers and instructors at the therapy barn I volunteer at have 'adopted' the horses and are buying them new halters.  Though some begging and wrangling I have scored that right for my favorite mare!  Win!  Here is the girl in question:

My horse's halter was free.

Then again so was his endurance bridle:

I had a feeling you might say that. Haha.

The funny thing is, I hate pink. I originally made his stuff lime green and hot pink as a joke... to keep my brushes from disappearing with the 'barn stuff'. Then everyone took it super seriously and started getting him things in pink and green. Now they're our colors.

Ah, the good idea that backfired.

I'm impressed that they find much in lime green and pink, to be honest...

If I tell you I have pink half chaps and full seat pink argyle breeches for my endurance rides, you'll probably throw up. Then again, I also have camo breeches.

I think it's awesome. I have hot pink stuff and one of the horses at the dressage barn has a hot pink dressage pad. We think it's hilarious.

@ brigidsdaughter- see my comment below. I didn't realize this was a therapy barn. I say let the kids be involved. That's what we do at the hippotherapy/therapeutic riding barn I volunteer at and they love it.

What's wrong with a hot pink dressage pad?!? - Says the bargain shopper that recently got one for pennies because apparently nobody else wants that color.... but it does look fab on my black bay mare! She's a diva after all! Lol.

I just have a deep aversion to pink from having it foisted off on me too often. XD

I'm a stubborn tom boy.

Haha, actually I HATED pink all through childhood and really until the past couple of years.... it all started with a cycling jersey covered in pink flowery looking... it was really pretty, so my now fiance got it for me... of course, that started something. So when I got my new mare and she's black bay and looks good in flourescent colors I declared, much to the chagrin of my fiance, that her new color was PINK!!!

And thus.... she has pink belongings, and she is the most diva horse I've ever met... she's a spoiled princess and she definitely knows it!!

Mine are all various shades of blue. Though sky blue halfchaps are more awesome in concept then they are in actuality...damn dirt.
