Various voltuneers and instructors at the therapy barn I volunteer at have 'adopted' the horses and are buying them new halters.  Though some begging and wrangling I have scored that right for my favorite mare!  Win!  Here is the girl in question:

ETA: it just dawned on me, this is a therapy barn. I volunteer with therapeutic riding and hippotherapy and it's fun for the kids to pick out some of the tack (or at least be involved as best as they can). Why not choose between a few of your favorite halters and then let the riders vote? That's what we do and it's a great way to let the kiddos interact and be involved.

I'm only there one day a week, so I don't get to see many of the kids Shiloh rides. I can try, though!

I was just about to suggest your first suggestion too - I'm planning on getting the purple for my favorite schoolie at my lesson barn :) Too cute!

my dark bay has that halter in purple and she looks so good in it. when it's not covered in mud you can even tell what colour it is!

Oh! I somehow didn't know Lucy had that one - Artie is eventually getting that for Christmas, once I can make it to a Dover so I don't have to pay $500 in shipping... ;)
