First rides.
I have recently put my six year old Gelding, Cosmo in training.
Other than the four hour fiasco of getting him into the trailer, we found out he may be a great endurance horse.
He has been really good, my trainer Carrie tells me he has a lot of common sense he does not freak out buck and try to leave when he is scared or suprised he just stops, and tries to watch the offensive item.
All in all he has been doing beautifully and today I get to get on him for the first time and just walk, but still, I am so excited.
Also Carrie has been working on the trailering thing, and we found out he was scared..... he never acted scared before just stubborn. He now walks up very nicely stands ties, turns around and nicely steps out.
On thursday he is going for a ride with his pal Nickel and they are going on a trail ride.
I'll see if I can take pictures today of him under saddle.
