One of the best things he ever said to me was, 'The movie Good Will Hunting is more about horse whispering than The Horse Whisperer.'

You would think huh? Its a long story about that coach, but he was a prick who just held me back and ripped apart my confidence, and then I'd still turn around and ride the horses better than he ever could. But yeah, chris was awesome, when he saw me the next day he was like, 'whats your name again? I remember the ride but not your name!'. It helped that I was on the best horse there, that he then road the next day.

He's genuinely a nice guy which is great, but he's not afraid to correct someone if they're wrong and he doesn't preach like his way is the only way you could ever do anything with horses, which is what I really liked about him. Unfortunately my college loved to lick his arse and THEY preached that his way was the only way and insisted that we NEVER did anything a different way, which meant if you got caught 'in a horses face' you got screamed at (?). Some of his stuff I have taken with me (a lot of his riding exercises are great, and the stuff about reading a horses body language), but I have also dropped a lot of it 'cause I can't be bothered or I don't have time for all that (If I wanna pet my horses face, I'm gonna).
