Riding breeches for the shorter legged rider
Basically, the title says it all. I'm 5'3.5" and have always had to wear petites in jeans. Unfortunately with riding breeches, the equivalent to a size 6-8 (fluctuate) makes the regular length too long for me in the leg. I've been looking around and can find "regular" and "long" but nothing "short." As is, I basically have to tuck the excess breech under the heel of my foot. Is there such a thing as "short"?
With my luck, it will be the $100+ range if they do exist, lol.
I've been riding in jeans, but my saddle is getting serious scuffs from the crotch inseam which just about made me cry because it's my dream saddle (stubben scandica dl) and I marred it! So, back to breeches it is. Since I ride at a majority western barn, it makes me look extra posh to wear the breeches, lol.
