Major confidence issues
Last week I posted about a fall I had off a mare who spooked. It left me pretty freaked out and I haven't ridden since (nearly two weeks ago.)
Today in my riding lesson I froze... literally froze. I felt totally unsafe even in walk, and my instructor had to run alongside me in trot because I was freaking out. I feel like I've totally lost my confidence even though I know the mare I was riding today is used for total beginners and is very safe and non-spooky.
How can I get over this? My confidence has just taken such a nose dive. I'm really angry with myself for feeling this way.
