I posted
this a while back, and I wasn't having very good luck finding anything...
until today!
My old trainer called me just to talk, and it turned out that she had moved her horse to where another one of her horses was, and another one of her old students was going to move HER horse to the same barn. Plus, two of her other old students are coming out to ride her horse. She said something like, "well, wouldn't it be funny if you moved Peaches there, too?"
...
SO long story short, the new barn owner, who seems really nice, had a pasture spot available straight away, my current barn owner was sympathetic and told me I could move her whenever, and that I was welcome back when I had a suitable horse (that sounds mean when I write it, but seriously, it was really nice... it's just that the place I'm at is a show barn, so its not like I can just come back to take lessons... anyway, the important thing here is that she was super awesome and understanding and wanted me back in the future!) which is great, so I'm going to be moving her in the next week, and then back off to school I go!
Thanks to everyone who gave their advice, and I'm so happy this worked out, even though it seems like a dream since it happened so fast!
A picture of the silly beast after I cleaned her... my goodness, she almost looks like she's a normal weight (she could stand to lose a few pounds ;))
