Hi everyone!

My paint-draft cross, Indy, is a bay/white colour, and one side of his barrel is completely white. He also has a white star & strip/snip, and four white socks.

I gave him a shower a couple days ago, and when his barrel got wet I noticed that the skin underneath his hair was much pinker than usual. He's sunburned! The snip on his nose is as well, though not to the same extreme. I was able to fashion a fly mask with a flap on the end to cover his nose, so it's protected.

Right now, he's wearing a fly sheet to help protect his skin, but it gets incredibly hot here during the summer (it's been 90+ the last couple days) and I'd like to take it off him if possible to help him cool off, but I don't want him getting sunburned. I was looking on Dover and found some sunscreen sprays, & I'm wondering if any of you have tried any and to what level of success. I don't want to use human sunscreen on his lip/nose because he tends to lick his lips a lot and he'll lick it off, and he's huge so I think I'd need about 30 bottles of SPF to cover him for the summer! I don't want to buy something that won't work, & the longer it lasts, the better. If it works and it lasts, I'm willing to pay a little more for it. (I know how painful sunburn is!)

Thanks in advance!
