Shipping Breyer Horses

Jun 04, 2009 11:52

I am about to divest of a very large number of Breyer model horses (need money, can't find enough work, you all know the story). I am a total newbie to the whole eBay world, but I am figuring things out (I think). Before I actually list them online, I wanted to make sure I have everything organized and I am trying to figure out how to safely mail the models after they are sold.

I know there are quite a few people here who collect Breyer horses and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me on how to ship them? I still have the original boxes for most, but they all have been opened and are no longer zip-tied to the boxes themselves. I don't know if I should be using packing peanuts or packing the Breyer boxes in a different cardboard box to ship. I'd like to keep shipping costs to a minimum because I will be asking that the buyers pay shipping.

Any advice would be much appreciated!
