Well I have about 97 of the 3000 photos I took at the Hoosier Horse Fair loaded to my FlickR and I wanted to share. :)

This is Keegan a six year old Friesian stallion. He was awesome all weekend.

It's one of my faves too. I made this out of it. I"m no good at photoshop so it's kinda lame.

and now i want a friesian! not normally my horse of choice, but there you go.

That is freakin' awesome. Ok I have never really played with PS but I want to try this! I take it you carefully cut out the horse and rider from the original shot, paste it onto a background of your choice and then try to level the exposure etc as much as possible to blend the two? Possibly stupid question but if that is the way you do it, how did you then superimpose the tree over the inserted picture? Does PS do it automatically? Or just a little more cut/paste?

I made Keegan a second layer. Copy and pasted the cropped image onto the background and then used my erase tool to erase the entire background around the mane and feet and face of both by hand. Then I trail and error removed the rest of his body where the tree stood.

Then I fiddled with the levels and contrast after making it all one layer. I'm not very good at it but thank you!
