Changed barns

I changed lesson barns.  A lot of things led up to my change but mainly it was really bad/unsafe lighting at night, lack of care for the school horses and a lack of organization from the staff.

My new barn is a little crazy in the summer I hear, it's part of a county park and they run a summer camp - yipes.  I really like my instructor though, she's way more dedicated to taking care of the school horses and she gives more one on one time to the students during lessons.  She said I am an "advanced rider" with a "beautiful position."  Squee! :)

She's already recommended me to a family who needs a caretaker for their horse.  They are moving to Idaho (from California) at the end of December and won't be able to bring their horse with them until the ground unfreezes and they build a barn, which could be anywhere from April to August.  I really want a horse but won't know where I'll be living next fall so this is the perfect situation for both of us.  In the next couple of weeks my instructor and I will be riding him to be sure it's a good fit, but I hope to post pictures of him soon and let you all know how it's going!
