And no matter what she was doing, they were always floppy. It was adorable.
It's sad how a schoolie we only had for two years became one of my favorite horses of all time when I never showed her and barely rode her because she was always being ridden by kids. Like, I'd say she's my third favorite horse out of all I've ridden, and the first two are ones I've shown for multiple seasons.
I had a TB mare almost ten years ago now. I had her for less than a year and she was unsound for a good portion of that, but she's still probably my all-time favorite horse.
She has a new home and is ok, but I still *look* extra close at any bay TB I see just in case it's her. I haven't seen her in years (except for photos), but for some reason I still look.
