rescue remedy

I am thinking about trying Rescue Remedy on my gelding to quell his severe separation anxiety. Mostly it's because I am tired of being dragged back to the barn every time we go out alone, and that's just on foot. He's dangerous to try to ride out alone because he will literally try everything in his power to get back home.

I used Rescue Remedy when my mare was lame. Didn't cure the lameness but it helped with her boxrest crankiness. She lapped it out of my hand.

I don't think she meant she thought it would cure the lameness, but rather, she was saying, "of course, it didn't have any effect on the lameness - I wasn't using it while she was lame to address that issue, but rather the issue of her being bonkers while cooped up in a stall." :) That's how I read it, anyway.

You misread my comment. *Obviously* it didn't cure her lameness. But it seemed to help her deal with boxrest.
