The plight of the chestnut mare is quite sad - i've sold a number of ponies on from when i was a kid & moved onto bigger things... the idea of this sort of ... crime... happening to an animal i had loved and cared for is just - appalling.

That is just horrible. Hard to believe that they are still with the person who did this to them. How awful. I wonder why it is that they would want the ones capable of being rehabilitated put down. So sad. And I do feel for the former owners, they must be devastated.

She was facing animal neglect charges in the UK when she moved them to Spain... argh....
