fact 1) i've been on livejournal since about age 13. i've known stellate since i first started, and now she's my facebook girlfriend.
fact 2) speaking of facebook and relationships, i'd never been single on facebook until last summer. i was either actually in a relationship or steve and i were married.
fact 3) a few months ago, i bought jon peter lewis' first album. it shed light on the fact that i guess i love past idol alum. i own albums by clay aiken, kimberley locke, john stevens, jpl, george huff, josh gracin, constantine maroulis, taylor hicks, elliott yamin, carrie underwood, blake lewis, michael johns, brooke white, and obviously david cook. i have pre-ordered jpl's new album as well as ace young and chris richardson's. on the same token jon peter lewis is probably the sweetest person on the face of the planet. :)
fact 4) i have really begun to realize lately how much i miss art and music, so this summer i'm going to finally learn how to play that damn guitar. everyone knows i'm transferring, and i decided to apply to kendall as well. because as much as my dream is to go to africa and work with aids i just don't know if i have another two years like this semester left in me.
fact 5) so i have been a word nerd for years. i LOVE crossword puzzles. i bought a crossword book last saturday and i'm already almost halfway done with it. this also feeds into my elitism, i think. it makes me feel pretty smart.
fact 6) i don't like candy, or chocolate, or anything sweet really. if i'm going to have something that resembles junk food or dessert, it's a smoothie. i've just never really liked that sort of stuff. so if you feel like you want to date me, i like flowers. i love roses. :)
fact 7) i read an essay once about how the only way fathers know how to talk to their daughters is by asking about the car. it's pretty much true of my father and i; we've never had the closest relationship. i'm old enough now to want to change that. i'm thankful everyday though that he named me after a neil diamond song and raised me listening to bands like the beach boys, beatles and heart.
fact 8) i cry a lot. like probably an abnormal amount. but to me there's nothing better than the calm after a really good cry. and hands down i cry at least once a week, on mondays during one tree hill.
