Just got back from 4th of July festivities at Gas Works park (which is where Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles played paintball in the movie "10 Things I Hate Abut You"). I've never been to the fireworks there (I've never been there period) and I'm really glad I went this year because they were spectacular.

So pretty. It sounds as though you had a really great day. The water is beautiful, and the skyline gorgeous. Glad you had a nice holiday!

I did have a pretty great day! The skyline is gorgeous. I've lived in Seattle my whole life and I'm still amazed at how beautiful it is.

Hee! I watched the fireworks from about 4 blocks up from where you were. :) They were pretty great this year! I was amused when they played the Austin Powers theme. Haha, they always put that stupid Statue of Liberty head up a couple days before the 4th. You can see it from my house--it's slightly...unsettling. ;)

Um, anyway. I'm still very, very behind on LJ, but I was wondering if I could ask you a favor? (Which you can totally say no to!) I have a new (MCR) header that I'm going to switch to on my journal and I'd love it if you'd be willing to make me another FO banner, as I love the other two you've made me. No rush and no pressure! :D

I'm glad I went to Gas Works this year. It's about a million times cooler then the one in Bellevue. Yeah, the Austin Power's theme was pretty funny. Karen and I were joking that the Statue of Liberty head was above ground but that the rest of it's body was in the hill and that at the end of the evening it was going to break free and go around "protecting freedom" by shooting illegal immigrants from the lasers in its eyes (which we were very much opposed to. Creepy Liberty head). Apparently we bore easily and entertain ourselves by making up not very patriotic stories to amuse ourselves.

I can totally make you an FO banner (I have more fun making those then I do making icons, which I love)! Let me know if you want me to match the coloring on the header (and if so, send me a picture of it) and any other pertinent info.

Yeah, I've only been to a couple other fireworks displays, but I definitely like the Gasworks one best. Haha, I'm glad you were opposed to the scary, laser-shooting Liberty head. That's something I'd be firmly against, too. ;)

Yay, thank you!! The header is here, and yeah, I'd like the coloring/tone to match. Other than that, I don't care if the picture(s) are the same, so feel free to try whatever. In terms of who's on it, I'd be equally happy with three options: All five guys, Frank & Gerard, or just Gerard. (Preferably Gerard with black hair, and Mikey with glasses, if he's included). THANK YOUUUU! :D

Cool. I probably won't use the same pictures ('cause it's 5 different pictures and finding each separate one might be hard) but I can definitely make one of those three options and match the colors/tones.
