『thirty-three 』

" --you'd say, 'they were young.' They were the same age as we are now. And here we are, risking our lives to fight the Dark Arts, and there he was, in a huddle with his new best friend, plotting their rise to power over the Mugg-"

You've got to be bloody kidding me.

...Well, that was terribly awkward. With the way this place makes a routine of pulling people in, you'd think the deities would know something about timing. Stuff like, not to trap someone in this ruddy snowglobe when they're in the midst of something crucial important?

Private to Self | Warded Unhackable

Not now. I can't come back now, not when we haven't even destroyed the first Horcrux yet. We can't take a single step forward without the City hindering us by sending us back.

...That's not to say I don't want to see people again, but I don't have the freedom to play this game when there's a war going on back home. People are dying- If not that, suffering for what they are or what they stand for.

-- And Dumbledore. He may still be here in the City...yet, I don't think I can trust him. Not after what I read; keep faith in the man, Hermione would probably say, but what faith is there to be had in a man who asks so much yet leaves things under veils - like his friendship with Gellert Grindenwald in the dark, or what I'm supposed to do with this bloody Snitch.

There's nothing to do now but play there game, I've learned that well enough. Spend some time in the City, return home exactly where I left - that's how it goes every time, right?

[ ooc Updated to the end of Chapter 18 right after he's escaped from Godric's Hollow with Hermione and read Dumbledore's letter/Rita Skeeter's book about Dumbledore. Testy temper is testy. :< ]

dumbles is not my homeslice, awkward, canon update, shit sucks
