could this get any better?
i have had the most amazing past five days ever.
and i thought i was going to be bored!
i took vacation time for a different purpose, and ended up not doing that, but i did so much more.
i went to calgary on friday for a job interview and i got the job if i want it. then i came home and went camping right away. well. skip the home part. i drove through medicine hat and just went camping. came home saturday afternoon and got ready for a date. ended up having an amazing time. went to calgary with him on sunday for the day. came back to my place. hung out until four in the morning. he left. came back at eleven the next day and we went for lunch. then spent about an hour saying goodbye and he left for calgary. his brother got some pictures of us, so i'll post them on myspace when he gets back home. he's from ontario but he's moving to calgary in june/july. long time, but something to look forward to. he's incredible. i think, anyway. and thats what matters.
today!! oh man. i've been jumping around since about twothirty. i got a fantastic job at the CARDIAC SURGICAL UNIT at the hospital in calgary!!!! holy crap. a position and everything. and i can do so much more than any facility here would allow me. i'm out of my mind excited about it.
the boy will be back on friday. they're staying for the night and then back to ontario on saturday. i think i might ask them to stay at my place because hotels are so damn expensive. we'll see what his brother thinks (who is just as sweet as him). oh man.
