Sherlock disappeared, and for three years John Watson went a little bit mad.
He'd become so totally co-dependent on Sherlock Holmes that he couldn't function without the man.
He'd bonded to him. Down to his soul.
What would his therapist say now? John Watson, soul-bonded to a Symbiont.
People tried to help him. His sister, Mrs. Hudson, even Lestrade came around every few weeks for a beer.
Didn't work though. John had lost his closet friend. His flat mate. The man he'd bloody soul-bonded to.
But then he came back.
Sherlock Holmes came back.
