A Hearty Thanks...
...to all one of you that left some feedback/advice in the last post (Heather, you're comments don't count because they had nothing to do with the post...thanks though! :o). I do appreciate all of your concern for my position.
Not that any of you care, but I have decided to decline Jamie's offer, simply because:
01) I am in no financial state to move out of my house, esp. with a new car purchase on the horizon
02) While living with Jamie would be very fun, my plan has been to move closer to Boston, not further away (albeit 2 miles further away...)
03) The commute to my job is already an hour...tagging on 15 extra minutes of town traffic is not going to make that process anymore desireable...desirable...desire-able?
So, that's my position. While my mom tends to drive me up the wall 10 ways to the weekend, I figure I can deal with that shit for another 6 months while I save up some cash.
Since I brought up the car purchase, here's an update of where I stand: In talks with another dealer about a couple cars that I may like (still the Mazda3's, but just not as "equipped" as I would like). However, the car I want is still supposedly on the lot at Talarico. So, I may call them this week to throw down a final offer, take it or leave it. No skin off my ass if they reject it...their loss.
So, last night was Christina and I's Bananamonthaversary! I sent her an e-card, and she outdid me by paying a surprise visit last night, giving me one of her painted works of the location of our first date. How sweet is that? I am so lucky to have her! :o)
So, we ordered pizza and just chilled out for the night...even though there was some badness going on. Haha.
Work has been going well...starting to pick up steam, which is good. I felt like I wasn't doing what I was supposed to, because there was really no "pressure" to do anything. But now my day's are filling up with work, so its good.
Went to the dentist this morning, after forgetting about my appt. on Monday. No missed appt. charge was filed though, since I've been going to Crane since I was 3 (she said it was a "prefered customer incentive"...haha. No cavities either...score.
On a side note, for those of you who watch The Real World...you know Johanna, the cute brunette who acts cool, but gets drunk too much? Yeah, def. found her My Space page. Haha. Not adding her as a friend, simply because she must get 5455443 friend requests an hour, and I'll never talk to her. It is her too, because there are some "personal" type photos of her with Wes, Lisa, and the pale girl from RW.
