This is going to be relatively short, because I don't feel like posting all that much. However, the weekend events are quite noteworthy (in a good way):
Last week was work, in general. Not much going on in the work front, and I still have yet to find my groove. Next week, since it will be slow, is going to be my week of figuring out where I stand in corporate terms (as far as duties, tasks, etc. go) and what, exactly, am I supposed to be filling my day with. I need to start actually working at work, instead of just talking online all day (no offense to those I talk to). I just need to at least FEEL more productive.
Anyway, here's this past weekend in a nutshell. And yes, the streak of good weekends is still alive and kicking!:
24 June 2005
Such a good time! I got out of work, came home to shower, then headed up to Portsmouth to meet up with Christina for our first date. I saw her, and my mouth dropped...she looked amazing!! After initial impressions were blazened into out minds, we headed off to dinner. Got there quite early (we were there by 7:15, and reservations were for 8:15), so we decided to go take a walk around Prescott Park. It was a great night out, and it was nice getting to know her a little better.
From there, we went to dinner at The Rosa, a nice italian place near the center of town. The food was good. She got the chicken piccatta and I got the prime rib (I was in the mood for steak). Both of us enjoyed the meal.
After dinner, we took a ride down Rt. 1A to an ice cream stand. Ice cream eating, and more great conversation ensued. After that, we headed off to the beach just to walk and chat. We walked a good mile up and down the beach (and maybe had a couple splashing fights). After that, we sat on the seawall and watched the red moon rise.
I must say, it was an amazing night! I couldn't believe how well we got along, how well the conversation flowed, and just the connection I felt right off the bat. I drove her back to her car, and we eventually parted ways.

Woke up relatively early (for not getting in til close to 3), headed to the gym, mowed the lawn, and did a little yardwork. Around 4:30-5, I headed down to Boston to grab Ski, and off we were to Lisa's party in Woosta.
We got there around, I'd say, 6:45-7, which was obviously early, since no one was there yet and neither Lisa nor Cassie were dressed. Haha. So, I took a look around quick, Liz arrived, then Ski and I headed out to complete our Beer and Taco Bell Mission. We need to pick up Summer Ale for the party, and we both were hungry and wanted to try those new CrunchWrap Supreme things at the Bell (you've seen the commercials). We did both, after getting tempted to go swim in the pond (we figured Lisa would not approve). Yes, the CWS's are portable, and yes, they are quite good.
After we got back, mucho personas started arriving: Coady and Cheryl, Meg Po-TEN-ti, Laura, and 3 or 4 of Cassie's friends (only names I remember are Nick and Kelly...).
In short, the night was a lot of fun. As standard literation, it was nice getting to see everyone again! There was some drinking, some clove smoking, and some thoughtful discussions about Viagra. LOL. I also managed to break a vase while I was there too. yeah...nice one, Eddie. I still feel wicked bad, and promise to make it up to LMiranda! :o(
12:30 rolls around, and all Stonehill people are gone (except Ski and I), and Cassie's friends are all still there, including a couple late additions (which included Brian Rourke, a fellow Middie who is the sig. other to one of Cassie's friends...small world). So, everyone decides that 12:30 is the perfect time to hit up a bar, except me, ski, and Cassie's underage friend kelly. So, us three hang back and watch The Bourne Identity. Around 1:45, they all come piling/falling back into the apt. One kid (a friend of a friend of Cassie's) is so drunk he can't even sit down...literally, he fell out of the couch. Eventually, he would vomit all over Lisa's bathroom.
Once everyone was home, I decided to take off in order to avoid a possibly awkward and uncomfortable sleeping arrangement. Got home by 3:15, and crashed!
26 June 2005
Woke up around 10:30 and just chilled and watched some TV. Called Christina to check in our plans to go to the beach that we had made the previous day. They were a go, so I headed back up to Portsmouth. We parked, and took a 4 mile nature walk to this secluded beach off the harbor. It was a nice day, even though the water was a bit chilly. We just chilled out, relaxed, and enjoyed the quiet. Then, the rains came. Haha. We packed up and headed back, but the nice nature walk from before turned into Mosquito Alley on the way back. At one point, I looked at my arms and had AT LEAST 7 mosquitos sucking my will to live. The bugs were AWFUL...but it was still a nice afternoon! :o)
We headed to another park that had shower facilities, rinsed, and headed off to dinner. Ended up going to Longhorns, since neither of us had ever been. It was actually pretty good...a nicer atmosphere than some of the other theme restaurants. The food was good too.
After that, we headed off to Captain's Cove for some mini-golf. No score was kept...but I think I squeeked by with a victory...lol (my LJ, my win). J/k...it was a fun time. After the game, I was ECSTATIC to see that they had dippin dots!!! I LOVE these damn things...lol! So, we got some to split. The night was still young, so we headed to Hampton Beach, sat on the boardwalk, and enjoyed the nice evening. Again, another wonderful day!

Work. Yay. Also got in a fight with the fam too, which sucked. Its resolved now though.
28 June 2005
More work. Again, yay. The evening was fun though. Christina wanted to see me again (not sure why...;o), so she came down, I made us dinnah, and we watched Napoleon Dynamite (since she does an excellent Kip impression...lol). After the movie, we went to Richardson's to get some ice cream. Jamie wasn't there so we had to pay...grrrr. Haha. Molly tried to save the day, but it was cool. I think she freaked out Christina a little though....lol. From there, I had Christina follow me to the highway so she could get home, but she got a little confused and we had to stop at a rest area to regroup (added bonus if you ask me...haha). She eventually made it home OK.
Today
Work, dinner, and here I am. So much for a short post...took me over an hour to type out this damn thing! Ahh well...don't even say I didn't give you all something to do during your work-filled days.
