Updating my journal, I am.

Can you tell I just saw Episode III? Haha. More on that later.

The work week was crap. So boring with nothing to do. I mainly talked online, surfed the web, and mde like 4 phone calls to prospects. That's about it. Supposedly things will pick up this week, but we shall see. I don't think I'm going to like this job at all, but the money is good. Problem is that there's nothing challenging to it. I sit there, research companies, call some of them, and that's it. Monkey work. Is it possible to find a job that pays well, has good benefits, has some cool people working there, and is also challenging? I think the best one can get at my experience level is 2 out of 4, tops.

Anyway, onto the fun stuff. Honestly, this weekend was probably one of the best weekends I have had in a loooooooooong time! The whole weekend was full, and everything was quite enjoyable! I loved it like I love...uuhhhh...food?
Friday was cool. Jon IMed me during work and told me to meet him at OTB for drinks, and for a chance to win a custom Harley from WAAF (they were broadcasting live). So, we hung around there for a while, Jon didn't win, then the girl he is dating (Laura) met up with us for dinner. From there, we went back to his place, were Niki met up with us. Once she arrived and Jon's Methuen friends backed out, the four of us left for Davis Square. We got a little lost, but Laura did a lovely job of finding the way. We headed to the Burren, and basically chilled there all night. This lame cover band was in the back room, and this cool 3 piece (bag pipes, fiddle, acoustic guitar) was in front playing some kick-ass tunes! It was a fun, chill night with some cool people, and that always equals a good time!
Saturday was the Snow Patrol concert! Honestly, it is tough to top them as far as a live show goes. They just have so much energy onstage, and the music could not be more right on!! Brilliant!!! You should ALL take any opportunity to see them live, or at least go buy their albums. If you liked the Garden State soundtrack, especially check out their second CD "When It's All Over We Still Have To Clear Up"...and if you think this recommendation is poop, then you can hate me forever.
After the concert, we headed back to Ski's, just to head over to hang out with his friends Eva and Kelly. We ate their left over chinese food, and watched Sideways. Honestly, not too impressed there. Funny at times, but I didn't think it deserved all the hype.
I crashed at Ski's for the night, and we got up at the ass-crack of dawn this morning to head to Stonehill. Rain was threatening, but it actually cleared up a bit for the ceremony. It was nice to see people again. Its sad though that its been a year since I was in their shoes. Man...time flies. Like I said, cool seeing everyone again, and hopefully I'll get together with some people soon!
Tommy D called during the ceremony to see if I wanted to meet for lunch and then catch Star Wars 3. I made sure Ski was set for a ride, said bye to people, and headed out. Met Tom at Subway, ate, and headed to the Randolph cinemas. Got there at 2:20, and all the shows up to the 4:50 show (7 in all) were sold out. So, we got two tickets to the 4:50 and headed to the Outback to kill time. Ran into Jim and Jenn at the theater though. They were going to see fever pitch. IT WAS GREAT TO SEE THEM THOUGH!! Is that good enough? Haha.
The movie was great!! I won't go into it at all, as not to spoil it, but it completes the entire series to a T! The ONLY pitfall was the lameness of Natalie Portman's acting. The more movies I see with her in them, the more disapointed I become in her abilities. Otherwise, it was excellent!!

So, hear I am. This week at work is the make-or-break, so I'll keep you all posted. This entry is long enough, so I will end it.........here.
